When you contact CANUS through this website we collect your name, email address, organisation, role and the content of your message, together with any context you choose to send.

We use this information only to respond to your enquiry, assess whether an engagement is appropriate, and keep a record of the correspondence. We do not use it for marketing lists, profiling or automated decision-making.

Enquiry records are retained for up to 24 months after the correspondence closes, unless an engagement or a legal obligation requires longer. You may ask for earlier deletion.

We do not sell or rent personal information. Information is processed by service providers acting for CANUS (email delivery and hosting) under contractual confidentiality, and is otherwise disclosed only where the law requires it.

You may request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you at any time, and we will respond within 30 days. This policy is prepared under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
